Cities of Southern Excellence
SouthernLINC Wireless and Montgomery's WBAM-FM Recognize Six “Cities of Southern Excellence”
It goes without saying that the South is one of the most intriguing regions of the country. Our culture, our people and our love of life have inspired novels such as “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” and countless movies like “Steel Magnolias,” “Fried Green Tomatoes” and “Forrest Gump.”
SouthernLINC Wireless and Montgomery’s WBAM-FM have decided it’s time to recognize Alabama towns that epitomize life in the South. In November and December, we’ll be designating Tallassee, Greenville, Troy, Selma, Opelika and Montgomery as “Cities of Southern Excellence.”
